BFJ is working with the City of Hudson to update their Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). The LWRP will provide a future land use plan for the City’s waterfront and establish policies for the coastal area. BFJ is working with the City and the community to develop alternative land use scenarios for the waterfront area. These alternatives include a mix of water-dependent and water-related recreation and open spaces and incorporate existing industrial and residential uses. Once complete, the LWRP will be submitted to the New York State Department of State’s Division of Coastal Resources for review and approval. The approved plan will serve as a guide for future development and redevelopment of Hudson’s waterfront.
