BFJ Planning provides ongoing planning advisory services to the Village of Mamaroneck and in recent years has completed SEQR and environmental review services; zoning code amendments; a master plan update; site plan reviews; neighborhood studies; and a plan for Harbor Island Park.

BFJ’s work on the Village’s Comprehensive Plan involved updating an earlier plan, prepared in 1986. The firm held public workshops to obtain feedback from the community and then worked closely with a committee selected by the Village Trustees to prepare updates of existing land use, demographics, housing, and population data. Subsequently, BFJ prepared sections of the Plan that focused on specific areas within the Village including residential neighborhoods, the industrial area, commercial sites and the harbor area.
