The 900-acre project site is located in Trenton, ME, approximately three miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. BFJ prepared a market analysis that evaluated several potential markets: seasonal and year round housing, a golf course community, RV camping, and hotel/retail uses. The strongest use identified was year round housing; particularly if it can be marketed to the needs of nearly employers such as Jackson Laboratories. Several alternative concept plans were prepared to illustrate site development options.
