GREENWICH RESIDENTS VOICE OUT THEIR CONCERNS ON THE R6 ZONE STUDY

Public Workshop | May 20, 2016

BFJ Planning is conducting a study on Greenwich’s R-6 zoning district, the Town’s smallest-lot residential zone. Over the years, the zoning district has faced challenges balancing the scale of development with the neighborhood character. On May 19, BFJ hosted a public workshop to hear concerns from the community. Based in part on those concerns, the study will look at ways to incentivize the type of development the Town is seeking, while addressing the potential for out-of-scale development that does not fit with Greenwich’s historic patterns.
