Dartmouth College Transportation Plan

Hanover, New Hampshire

BFJ was retained by Beyer Blinder Belle to develop a transportation plan for Dartmouth College as part of a long-range Master Plan for the campus. Because a significant amount of new buildings is proposed for existing parking lots it became important to improve the College’s parking efficiency and shift as many commuters as possible to other modes. As part of this project, BFJ investigated peripheral park-and-ride lots with shuttle services, remote park-and-ride strategies for car poolers, the design and integration of new parking facilities and ways to improve the College’s bicycle infrastructure.
